Hello Ghouls!
I love to be scared. I know it’s sick and wrong, but I love it. Scary movies, Haunted Houses, Ghost Stories ... that’s why I love Halloween. A whole holiday to celebrate spooky things! My favorite Halloween time tradition is dressing up and taking my daughter to the Witches’ Festival at Gardner Village. We dress like witches, eat hot soup in bread bowls, get our fortunes told, dance, and we always end the night with Fudge from the candy shop. I usually try to drag a few girl friends along. I even have the Witches’ Festival for 2008 on my calendar already!
Last week while dancing with my little witch (my daughter Hailey, age 4) at the festival, she said, “Mom, come take a picture of me- it’ll make a great page for my scrapbook!” She was right. I took the picture, and it definitely will! It’s fun to have a hobby that memorializes all of our fun family traditions. It’s especially fun to look over the pages from the past years and remember these moments with my little girl.
So I wish for you all to have a happy- and of course scary- 2007 Halloween. If you’re looking for some great products to scrap the season, may I suggest Making Memories Halloween line? Head on to the store and get the paper before it disappears. It’s AWESOME!
